The Island Fox is a multimedia review journal at California State University Channel Islands. It provides a wonderful opportunity for CI students and alumni to submit work and get published in a variety of genres–from literature to music to art in a variety of forms. These works showcase the diverse talents of the CI community. We enjoyed reviewing your submissions!

Letter from the Fall 2020 Team:
Dear CI Students and Alumni,
Thank you for your interest in the Island Fox. We hope this note finds you reasonably well in these unprecedented times.
Our team of six interns, under the mentorship of Dr. Vose, has worked tirelessly to bring you the most recent edition of the Island Fox journal. As a result of the pandemic, we have gone completely virtual this year. Even so, the CI community continued to support us, submitting 57 art pieces, 72 poems, and 28 prose pieces, of which we accepted 26 art pieces, 25 poems, and 9 prose pieces. We subjected each submission to a double-blind peer review, only learning the writers’ and artists’ names after we made our final decisions. We were very impressed with the quality of the submissions this year and had to make many difficult decisions.
We hope you enjoy our Fall 2020 edition of the Island Fox.
